It’s time for another post from my series about tv inspired outfits. I’m doing all of the 3 female characters from F.R.I.E.N.D.S. Firstly, I started with Rachael Green’s style and I gave you some outfit ideas. You can check out the post here.

In today’s post I’m gonna show you some Monica inspired pieces for your outfits. Clean and straightforward, Monica’s style is just like her. It’s needless to say that 90s style is coming back on trend. You see it everywhere – from the straight leg mom’s jeans to the colourful scrunchies in everyone’s hair.

  1. In the earlier episodes you can see Monica wearing a lot of jeans – high waisted, straight leg, light denim. Put on a nice top and sneakers and you’re ready to go.

2. Another 90s trend that you can see Monica wearing is the mini or maxi floral dresses. This style never really got old. You can see those dresses everywhere, any time of the year – with sneakers or with heels, with jumpers or just as it is. Here are some Monica inspired dressed:

If you’re looking for some shoes inspiration, I found those:

In the late episodes we see Monica more mature and more elegant

And of course how can we forget about the iconic red dress. I found some red dress inspired by it.

3. The skirt is always welcomed in Monica’s closet – from the mini to the maxi, she wears them with short sleeve tops, with polo-neck shirts or with a nice blouse.

Which style you prefer more Monica’s or Rachel’s? Do you have any favourite pieces from my list or do you have any you want to add? Next time is Phoebe’s turn for some 90s boho inspired outfits.
