From the bath mat to the shampoo – here are the products I’ve tried and I loved, and also the ones I didn’t like that much.
- Bath mat
I got this one in turquoise from Amazon and it was amazing. I loved it. But unfortunately, I didn’t read the washing instructions so after one wash it was ruined and I had to throw it away. After that I didn’t want to risk it again and I just bought a cheap one from Poundland but surprisingly it does the job and it’s easy to clean. It’s similar to this one:
2. Bathroom accessories
I’ve always wanted to have some marble pattern in my bathroom so when I found this bin I count resist. I also got a brush and soap dispenser in similar pattern.
I used to have this really cool shower curtain with tropical leaves but the material so bad and after few times it became mouldy so I had to change it. I found this cute one on Amazon and so far it’s does great job and it’s not mouldy. I got mine in Transparent ring patterns. It also has little weights at the bottom so it doesn’t move with the water. Highly recommend it.
3. Hair products
I have to start with this amazing mask/ conditioner by Garnier. It’s probably the best hair product I’ve ever tried. You can use it as a mask if you leave it longer or as a conditioner if you leave it just for 1-2 minutes. It makes my hair soft and untangled. I can’t recommend it enough. Check out the range for different types of hair. I’ve tried the banana and the papaya one – both amazing.
The next product I’m really happy with is this Wonder Water by L’Oreal. I started using it recently but so far I’m happy with it. I use it after the shampoo and before the conditioner. It has a warm, tingling feeling for couple of second once you apply it but that means it’s working its magic. I hope it’ll help with the growth of my hair but I’ll keep you posted after I finish the bottle.
Now, about the shampoo… It’s a difficult question. I used to love L’Oreal’s shampoos but recently I’ve started having some dandruff problems and unfortunately, I’m still looking for my hero. So far I’ve tried Head & Shoulders, E45 and Neutrogena T/Gel – all of them big disappointment. If you have any suggestions for a hair product or treatment again dandruff, please let me know in the comments.
4. Face products
Recently, I started using this facial cleansing brush to clean my face once a day and it made a big different to my skin texture and the pores. If you don’t have one, I truly recommend it.
With the cleansing brush I use this facial wash by Neutrogena. You can never go wrong with Neutrogena when it comes to face products. I’ve tried different products by the brand and I’ve always been happy with it.
Before that, I used a face exfoliator and a mousse cleanser, both from Neutrogena. Then I got the facial brush and I didn’t need the scrub anymore but I recommend them both if you’re not a fan of the electric cleanser.
5. Other products
Toothpaste and toothbrush:
It’s pretty basic here – Colgate for a toothpaste; Oral-B for a toothbrush.
Nothing special here, just the basic Femfresh. Right now, there’s a big sale on Amazon so you can get it for less than £2.
You can never go wrong with Nivea. Good quality body wash on a good price – what more you want.
I’ve been using a mesh sponge ball for ages. I love it. At the moment, I’m using this one:
Hair removal – razor:
I can’t miss this little gem I found on Instagram last year. It’s the best razor I’ve ever used. You can get it delivered in your post on a monthly subscription// or every few months// and you pay less than the brands in your local store. The quality is the best – the handle is made of steel, 5 sharp blades and it’s encased with cocoa butter, aloe vera and shea butter. All the good stuff. The starter kit is only £7,95, that includes a handle (colour of your choice), 2 blades and a wall mount (so you can put it in the shower near you). Then you can get a refill of 4 razor blades every few months (depends how often you used it) for £9,95 and free shipping. It’s just the best deal I could find and I’ve been using it for almost a year. The brand ships internationally so go check them out.
